God of War Laufey Pushed to May 2027 - IGN Daily Fix

In today's Daily Fix: Sony has decided to delay God of War Laufey a few months to May 2027. Originally slated for February 2027, developer Sony Santa Monica said the game needs extra time to "make an extraordinary experience worth of the passion and dedication of our fans." This does free up a little room in a crowded post-holiday release calendar, with Fable, Metro 2039, and others still scheduled to be released around that time. In other news, Bloodborne still doesn't have a next-gen update, but Sony might not need one if the original keeps selling the way it is. According to industry analysts, Bloodborne sold 250,000 copies in 2026 alone, impressive for an 11-year-old game. And we’re heading back to How to Train Your Dragon’s Isle of Berk with the Ride Guys to soar through Hiccup’s Wing Gliders – all at Universal Orlando Resort. Presented by Universal Orlando Resort, and its newest theme park, Universal Epic Universe.
